"HOOKED ON STEEL", I began my musical life as a drummer, growing up in the Big Band Era, and after 25 years got into Country music, Was lucky enough to have drummed in a band with C.C. Johnson, (Texas Western Swing Hall of Fame) and that led to a few lessons, and much encouragement. That was over 20 years ago, and for the last 15, I have been building,repairing and experimenting on steels. Being semi-retired,it keeps me active and happy. Tho sometimes frustrated like all steel players get from time to time. I play at an area OPRY once a month and a few odd gigs througout the year, just to stay in touch with reality. Ha!
